Meet the Team Behind the Spot
Fernando Noriega
Founder
Half of the dynamic duo that brought you The Gay Hot Spot, Fernando was born and raised in sunny southern California and now resides in Holladay UT. He moved to Provo, UT 8 years ago for what was supposed to be a college education, instead he’s spent the last 8 years as a branch manager for Zions Bank, a part time flight attendant for Jet Blue and most recently, the National Sales Director for CityDeals.com. He left CityDeals with the original founders, and his current business partner, Daniel Ogden, to pursue several other business opportunities including the founding of The Gay Hot Spot. When not working hard on building the site by attending and throwing great parties, he likes to attend and throw great parties! However, lazy Saturdays at home, or quiet movie nights with friends are just as fun for him. He gets his thrills from driving fast cars and riding faster motorcycles, or terrorizing the Salt Lake Valley with the rest of his scooter gang! He has a passion for unique and original things, even when it comes to the fun, crazy and interesting personalities he’s surrounded himself with along the way. Feel free to add him on Facebook!
Daniel Ogden
Founder
International man of mystery and adventure, Daniel is a Utah native that feels just at home in the mountains as he does in a big city. He believes in living life to the fullest and experiencing everything the world has to offer, he loves to travel, try new foods, meet new people, laugh with great friends and tear through the canyons on his motorcycles. He lives life by a motto, “character determines destiny” he believes if he lives life with integrity than opportunity will always present itself.
Daniel has worked a wide variety of jobs including acting in local film and theatre productions, selling leather, bar tending, slinging coffee & event managing, but his favorite job was climbing the mountains of the Wasatch Front while trapping the elusive Gypsy Moth. Daniel’s passion for The Gay Hot Spot is contagious and he can’t wait for the adventure that is bound to be a part of this new project. Curious? Want to know more?
